Dominique Laurence

Director, Dominique has been working in the advertising industry for over twelve years. Having studied jazz piano, he initially comes from the music scene. His music videos and recordings for Quebecois and French artists have been nominated and awarded at several award ceremonies, including the ADISQ, Much Music Awards, and the Junos. He has directed various documentary projects for the web and television, including for Radio-Canada, CBC, RCI, and Télé-Québec, both locally and internationally, notably in Haiti and Darfur. He is one of the founding members of the Kino movement, and his short films have been featured at festivals worldwide. He is currently developing a series project with Casablanc and co-writing the adaptation of the novel “L’enfant mascara,” supported by SODEC, alongside author Simon Boulerice.
