Martin Laporte, is a skilled and accomplished artist. For the past fifteen years, he has worked as photographer, cinematographer, director and artistic director. He has produced images for advertising campaigns in United States and France, and regularly contributes to renowned magazines such as Vice, Purple, The Ground, Fashion and Elle.
From 2007 to 2009, Laporte, with collaborator Saulo Madrid, was commissioned by the Canadian Center for Architecture to do a series of video and art installations. In 2015, Laporte work as director of photography for the feature film La Peur, which won the prestigious Jean- Vigo Prize in Paris. Recently, Laporte employed his editor’s skills to Beyond the Walls of Eden, by artist Scarlett Rouge and Saulo Madrid.
